History

From humble beginnings, we’ve broadened coverage, upgraded programming, and vastly increased our audience. These achievements allow us to provide competitive advertising rates and spearhead extensive public service initiatives.

Last Star Radio broadcasts at 150 watts on FM, using our 2,200-meter elevation to reach the Blood and Piikuni Reserves, and communities such as Cardston, Fort Macleod, Hillspring, Glenwood, and Magrath. With about 20,000 loyal listeners, we connect broadly across Southern Alberta.
